I'm looking at the possibility of getting a 710m and have a couple of questions:

1 - It sounds like the 'stock' battery will last about 2.5 hours and the extended life battery about 5 hours. Any anecdotal info on battery life? 2.5 hours will work fine for me, but if it's really 1 hour then I'll opt for the bigger battery.

2 - The largest amount of RAM available during the order process is 1GB. I suspect this will be enough for now, but is there an aftermarket 2GB option available for this system?

    Thanks!

I'd say between 2-2.5 hours on the four cell. NewEgg is a good place to buy memory. I'd get the minimum ans upgrade after.
