Hi Just got a new 700m
    2.0 Pentium M
    1 GB Ram
    DVDRW/CDRW
    Wireless a/b/g
    60 HD
    Windows XP Pro

Just wondering what drivers or programs should I use to get the most out of it as far as burning DVDs, and even just making it better for day to day use. Also for security issues, I have complete McAffee system but anything else I should download? Thanks. One last question, I tried watching a DVD with windows media player and noticed that at full screen, it was still smaller than what I was used too on my old laptop(inspiron 8200), the image seemed to be shrunk. Is that normal? Thanks again for your help.

If all you want to do is make audio and data CDs and data DVDs, I would suggest CDBurnerXP and Deepburner. Both, unlike Nero, are free and work quite well for basic burning tasks. Don't forget DVD Decrypter for burning DVD Shrink's output. Good Luck.

all security software is a joke if you use a computer outside of work. Use something other than ie for a web browser and dl these proggies:
    spybot search and destroy
    adaware
    hijackthis

Don't waste your time and money on all that anti-virus crap that does not work.
