    7 media buttons - xps 1210M

    on the front panel of the xps 1210m appears 7 media buttons,,,

    during Media Center active, these controls are max'd volume at 25 and unable to change

    what have i miss config'd?


    winamp? nothing!

    For one, you must have Dell quickset installed and running in order for the buttons to work. Second, they only work with some programs. By default they work with WMP, and your dvd player.

    If you want them to work with winamp, you need to open winamp, go to preferences and enable global hotkeys.

    I have now installed the Dell Quick Set and now using the Media Center

    but the same issue,,, volume is set at 25 and non-adjustable with the keys

    should i do something else to configure?
