Guys, I got an inspiron 640m and the left clicker for the trackpad is loose. It doesn't go back when i press it thus making it very sensitive when I touch it. Is there any thing I can do to fix this? Can I access the clicker when I open something at the bottom of the laptop? Any suggestions? I don't want to send it back to dell for repair since i'm not in the US now.

    Please help. Thanks!

I'm not totally familiar with this family of Dell (The 640m is the e1405 right?), but I think the touchpad buttons should be integrated with the palmrest panel, so if you want to replace the buttons you'll need to buy a new palmrest assembly. I don't think you can fix it yourself, but you can always open it up and take a look.
