If they release anything better than the x1400 I'll be mighty pissed! Thanx for the bios update though

Is it worth updating the BIOS if everything is running smoothly or should you always update to the latest one?

I'm still on the one that shipped on my 6400, A03.

"1. Support NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 Graphic Card."

It's only a Go7300, a bit slower than the x1300 IIRC. Now, if it were Go7400 (just a bit slower than x1400, but better Linux support) or, better, Go7600 (about equal to x1600), I'd be more interested!

"2. Updated Intel processor support, Processor ID: 06EC. "

Not sure, but, that may be Core 2 Duo (Merom). Core Solo/Duo are CPUID 0x06e8. Of course, it could just as easily be a new rev of Core Solo/Duo -- Pentium M has several CPUID codes.

Ok your correct.. the link isnt working, just check for FlashBios upgrades for the 6400/E1505 on dells site.

Also I didnt know that the Nvidia Go they are trying to support is less then the X1400, Thanks for that info.

Also yea, updates are nice, could help add things to offer more support to new items and so. Im sure ExpressSlots will need a update and with the new core duo, Im sure a few bios updates will happen to make it better as time goes on. After all.. it is new. How long does it take before something gets ironed out. Lets ask MS.... Is Windows XP better yet...? Hrm.. Lets check 2000 =p

meh..A04 works fine for me. not gonna bother upping just for nvda support which i do not even need :D

btw, the x1400 really sucks hard. especially playing stuff at default 16x10 res.. getting ridiculous ~20fps. hahah

I went to bios upgrade support page, and I guess it's true. Dell have decided to put(at least support) NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 Graphic Card on their E1505 Systems. Go to this link .
I just have to wonder, if Dell is going to put better card then Go 7300 on it.
