    Hi guys,

This laptop has not been used much off the charger, but the battery only lasts about 1.5 hours.

Attached is a screen shot from Notebook Hardware Control.

    This is what is weird:

    Designed capacity: 79920mWh
    Fully charged capacity: 16706mWh

How can I get that back to something more acceptable? Battery life used to be hours. I have a 9 cell.

Yup, you're SOL. I was in the same boat, got a genuine Dell 9-cell off of eBay for $60. There is no way to bring the battery back.

Yours still isn't too bad though, after 18 months,my battery got about 35mins. It was nice to get my 5 hours back.
