    Hi,
I was wondering if one can get any more $$ off or coupons to bring the price down of a $1499+ 630m site thru dell's small business site. Right now one can get $400 off.
Also here is a questions as well as advice - I saw in another post saying taking off $100 with a 750 coupon. The coupon one could buy at ebay for $2. I also wanted to say that every week dell provides coupon codes at the dell direct stores. So if one is in the vicinity, go ahead and you can always have from $50-$100 off your system price. Not sure if this is the same as what you get on ebay.
Anyway the question is can i have something like this sothat I get bring down the price of my 630m a little more. Net price with shipping etc comes out is about $1250.
    The config is
    1.86 gig P-M
    1 gig ram (2 dims)
    60 (5400) HDD
    2200 wireless with bluetooth
    DVD burner
    screen 14.1" with truelife
    2 yr at home warranty

I can increase the RAM to 2 gig and replace the DVD burner with a combo and remove the bluetooth without altering the price.

is this a good deal or I should try through dell home I can probably get the same deal in the same price .. though I will have to go to the dell direct store. And this in combination with a $75 coupon will lead to same.

I know I asked a lot of questions, sorry !!! but in short here are they:
1.Is the 630m config good enough and the price is okay?
2.Can I get any coupons etc to bring the price by say $75-100. Thatz all I want.
3.What if I get the XPS through the home site - it comes a little costlier though (I need to buy the 3 yr warranty and add some stuff to get the discounts) with the DJ diffy but I think its the same stuff as 630m. So is it worth ????

Looking forward for some inputs. Thanks in advance
    jazz

Hmm, I've been waiting for a good deal to jump on the 630m. The trouble is that Dell's small business site seems to have fewer sales/coupons. BTW, where did you find $400 off $1499+? I probably wouldn't use it as I'm looking to stay under $1000, but I'm still curious. :)

From the research I've done the m140 is really the same as the 630m. You are simply paying more for better support, Win XP Media Center Edition (does it cost more than Pro?), the DJ Ditty, and the "XPS" branding.

it comes automatically at the dell small business site when you set up a system with $1499 or up or else it will be only $200 ... I might check up tomorrow with dell direct stores and if I can have another $75 I may go in for this ... its not too good but I don't think one would get cheaper than this ... unless one knows some other tricks :) ... though I
m looking for more replies from the experts ... I'm really new here !!!
