Somehow, I think it was installing the 169.02 drivers, I overclocked my monitor to 63 Hz, from the default 60. At least that's what the Generic Non-PNP Monitor and nVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT Properties are saying. So I was wondering - can this monitor actually run at 63 MHz? Everything looks fine during regular use, but playing FPS games at VSYNC, I sometimes get glitches - is this likely tearing due to the game thinking I'm running at 63 Hz and the monitor not actually running there?
And if I actually did OC my monitor, are there any good monitor temperature monitors around?

...it's still at 63 Hz for some reason.
Is anyone else having this problem with these drivers and this monitor? The 156.55 and 101.28 drivers resulted in the standard 60 Hz resolution.
Fraps does record 63 FPS when my games are at VSync. I'm planning to try the newest drivers if there's no solution, but it does seem a rather strange glitch, even in a beta. -

63Hz shouldn't be a problem as the LCD will probably down it to 60Hz internally anyways. -
??? You're overclocking the wrong thing buddy. I'd think up of a stupid analogy like I always do, but this is just silly.
