    600m Standby mode for long times?

    My wife has a 600m and leaves it in standby mode vs turning it off, it appears the monitor turns itself off and such but do long sessions of leaving the laptop in standby mode somehow hurt the hard drive or have potential to somehow overheat the unit or reduce its life?


    Silly question I know but anyone?
