Hi, I was wondering if the 6000d would be able to run half life 2 reasonably using following config:

    Centrino 1.73GHz
    512 MB RAM
    128MB x300

That's about what my budget can handle...any suggestions?
    Thanks.

Oh yeah, I was also wondering if the 6000 had problems with the notorious sparkles on the 9300 that so many people complain about...

I have that exact system you have - half life looks great on i think i have it on the 1200 x 1024 or whatever the closest to that is. the load times in between levels is a bit long, but once it loads up, i'd say it runs pretty good. again, it looks amazing on the display though w/the WUXGA screen

I just got mine bout 2 weeks ago. Just installed Half-life 2 and it works awsome. Kinda hard to get used to because of widescreen compared to playing it on desktop, but no video card lag or anything for me with th x300.

Also for more benchmarks I played Swat 4 on Highest settings and I was impressed how well it ran.
