    6000d fan always on?

    has anyone else with the inspiron 6000d noticed that their fan is always on or is just me???

    I haven't noticed but it's on right now. I will pay more attention to it and report back. However it's quite quiet compared to other laptops I have had (Sony, Dell).

    Have you tried hitting Fn + Z? That should reset the fan speed.
