I'm considering getting a 6000, but in order to get the 6000 with the Radeon graphics card (6000d), Dell is requiring the purchase of the 3 year warranty. My question is if I purchase the 6000 with the integrated graphics, can I add the Radeon card later? Is there a way to purchase the 6000d without the 3 year warranty?

    no.

instead of purchasing online, you can try calling dell and talking the rep into it. it may or may not work.

I tried to get a rep to help, but they seem to be sticking to the 3 year requirement. It's just not worth the additional $240.
