I want to buy the 6000 and would like to share what I’m thinking for the configuration and throw it out there for the people on the board here to respond and set me straight.
The configuration that I’m looking at building is

    Display - WUXGA
    Memory - 512MB DDR2 SDRAM 1 Dimm
    Video card – 128 GB
    Hard drive – 80 GB
    CD/DVD - CD burner/DVD combo

This would replace my desktop as it handed down to my son. The use would be for mostly home, maybe some travel. Not too much if any for gaming, some pictures, maybe a DVD. Using AUTOCAD occasionally. And of course surfing the net.
I just thought it would be better to have all the nice stuff installed rather that wish later that I would have.
With that being said, please tell me if I have the right idea or am I off base.

    Thanks

not bad glad to see you went with 1 dimm for easy upgrades later on.
alot of ppl spend the extra $ on a dvd burner but I prefer to use an external for me they just seem to do a better job plus they are faster.

have you thoght about bluetooth and does it come with wireless?
