    6-cell in Vostro 1500

    I'm planning to buy a Vostro 1500 w/ integrated graphics and T5270 cpu. I will be getting a 6 cell along with that, and I'm wondering how much battery life I will get out of it.

    Anything more than 2 hours would be nice but I doubt it would last that long

    I had the 6 cell and the 9 cell on my Vostro with a T7300 and an 8600m GT (1680 x 1050). I would get about 2 hours 15 minutes on the 6 cell and 3 hours 25 minutes with the 9 cell on power saver with 30% brightness and wifi on. You should be getting more than that with your system.

    good to know. I have a hp dv6113us right now and the battery only lasted a little less than 1 hour and a half on those settings. The battery is dead now so I'm looking for a new laptop.

    I have a vostro 1500 with the specs in my sig and i get about 2 hours and 30 mins with max brightness (or maybe on setting lower), and wireless internet going.
