The deal was too sweet to pass, because brand new one without any coupons was $600 more.

    So I got T7500, 3GB, 200GB 7200 RPM, WXGA+, Crimson Red all for $1269 + tax

it's certified of course, but I don't really care if it has scratches or dead pixels just as long it works :)

I currently have Acer 5920G which is probably will end up on ebay or I might just keep it for media center purposes.

Looks like a good deal, man, good for you :) It'll have better gaming performance too since it uses DDR3 video memory.

well one of the reasons I went for it is because 5920g can't handle HD Video editing and I don't want to get desktop for this. So I hope that XPS will be enough to render MPEG4 720p content

Well, since the Blu-Ray drive is an option for the 1530, it better be able to render 720p ;)

heh, that doesn't mean anything... acer 5920 has HD-DVD but with 1.5Ghz cpu is not powerful enough to render an hour of 720 content
