Can I use a PA-8 Adaptor with my 5100? It says to use a PA-9, but the 8 has the same tip, and it seems to be the same voltage, so is it safe to use?

EDIT: It won't work! It's only 2 amps off, everything else is the same. Bummer.

call dell and ask, but more than likely if the watts are lower than what the computer specs, it should be fine
