    4GB RAM on 9400

    Hi, anyone knows if the 9400 that I have with A00 bios is able to support 4Gb of RAM? How bout it's performance in games? Have a 7800 go on the machine. Thanks :)

    I take it that you have a Core Duo (Yonah) chip since you have the 7800 go. If that's correct, there's not really a point to 4GB because 32-bit processors cannot make full use of the memory as they don't have the addressing capabilities. 2GB should be plenty of most games; also remember that 7800 is a pretty strong card and that the GPU is the biggest factor in gaming.

    im pretty sure the e1705/9400 can only support up to 2 gb
