The 40% off coupons doesn't work when I try it on the dell 9300, says its been redeemed although I haven't bought anything Is it really that because there was an unstated limit on coupons as one person said here? If so how long do I have to wait now for another promotion? I'm freaking bummed.

Yeah, the coupon has expired. Dell might issue a new one in the next few days, but since there is two already out, I doubt they will. This is the best deal they have had all summer, so I would figure that you'll have to wait until end of August or beginning of September. Its really hard to tell cause Dell doesn't give any hints about when they will issue the hot coupons which is what this one was.

Here's a $750 coupon if you spend over $1899 and with this coupon you can't use it for Inspiron XPS Gen 2.
    Use code: 9GB917L6D452S7

I just figured that this was an end of the quarter special they were doing to buff up their numbers. Always check spoofee.com or bensbargain.net for the heads up on dell deals. Thats what I do. I hope you find another one soon. But the game here is patience if you want to save money. I waited half a year to find the right deal for me.

the thing i hate is that if u wait TOO long...then the offer or the laptop will be gone...and u will never be able to get another one as close to it with price and performance again...and u will regret it forever

Most Dell coupons have a limit on the number of uses. In the case of the 40% coupon, it was only like 3000 or 4000 uses. Dell sells a TON of machines, so that's not as big of a number as it might seem initially.

For instance, the above $750 coupon is good for something like 5000 uses or expiring after the 10th (watch time zones), whichever comes first.
