Hi All, Can I use the internet using 3G sim in Dell Studio 1558 using sim slot under the battery. Or do I need a separate data card.
    -Thanks

That's true OneCool. Yesterday I went through the Dell manual and found that I can insert a sim in my laptop. So I thought a 3G can also work.
Then I contacted the Dell Support team, and they said it is possible, but while configuring the laptop during ordering, one have to add the WLAN to it. And mine laptop is not having that, so need to buy a external one.

If you have internal aerials connectors tou can buy internal card on ebay, look for Dell 5540 but first check if you have the connectors inside. System with WWAN aerials will have 5 or 6 connectors inside.

W855P this is the part number for the black chainlink cover with all optional aerials fitted as standard.
