Hey does anyone know what the 300 dollar rebate coupon on their order slip is supposed to look like for the inspiron 9300? Is their like a code # and item # or something that identifies the rebate? I am having trouble finding the rebate because my copy of my packing slip got wet and I cannot decipher some of the information. I've called Dell and of course they are being dicks like usual. So if someone could send me a copy of thier shipping slip. I know it sounds like im trying to do something illegal here but im really not. Thank you!

I called the corporate bastards again and when I purchased the Inspiron 9300 it said "300 dollar mail in rebate on all Inspiron models!" and it even showed up on my ordering window when i ordered it on the 19th. They are claiming I need an item # and part number? WTF i've talked to about 5 guys who have had the same problem with Dell not honoring rebates.

are you sure they aren't wanting your express code or service code? That's the standard info that you have to give when you call Dell. Its located on the bottom of your laptop.

Tell them you are going to refuse shipment. I sometimes print the the screen, to use for future reference. Always a good idea to read the details.

they should be able to get your info from your customer # and/or order # and/or account #?

they were not able to help you after giving that info?
