    2GB of ram not recognized, only 1.99GB showing

    That is the problem, I have 2 GB in my computer but when I go to My computer then properties it shows me only 1.99GB, is it bad, good, normal?

    I would say it's nothing to worry about. If you are concerned, when you start your computer, assuming it's a Dell (as that's where you've posted), press the Fn & power key at the same time when you power up your machine. That will launch some diagnostics which will test the RAM; though I'm sure it's fine.

    Ok I did what you told me to do and thanks you! I didn't know this "trick".... everything is ok, everything passed so I guess having 1.99GB instead of 2GB won't kill me

    if you're using an integrated video card with shared memory, the amount it uses won't be shown in the total. So it might be 2 gb minus 128mb or whatever it is.

    I could not answer to that, having an integrated video card with shared memory. Don't even know what exactly means lol

    Long story short: there is absolutely nothing wrong with your memory.
