you don't need the coupon code, b/c it is automatically taken off when you buy on line. Just go to the website: it shows:

Inspiron 1150 or 1000 notebooks 25% Off Instantly
Inspiron 8600 or 600m notebooks 20% Off Instantly
Inspiron XPS, 9200, 700m or 5160 notebooks 15% Off Instantly

 

Actually that's not true. While it is true they are offering an instant discount on laptops, if you enter the coupon code in the shopping cart, the % will go up to 25% from whatever percentage the initial discount was.

At least, I can get 25% off a 9200 when I enter the code. Perhaps it doesn't apply to the lower end laptops.

 

Just tested it... and it also works for the 700m so I'm assuming it probably works for all Inspirons.

Slight correction.

The coupon is only for Dell Home...I was using it on the EPP site. No way to use it on there.

But it actually doesn't matter...if you get the full service plan (to get 12% off through EPP) and then get a laptop with at least 15% off now...you're actually getting more off (27% to be exact for the 9200) than you would on the Dell Home site. Just wish you could get 25% + the 12%...oh well...

I also verified it works on Dell Home.

And we all wish that the 25% off coupon worked on TOP of the 15% - 20% instant off offers.

What happened to the additional $200 mail-in rebate? Did that expire?

 

Yeah.... I was trying to use the 25% code right after 6am when they still had the $200 mail in rebate promo going.

I could have gotten a 9200 for a little over $1100! They were wise to that little scheme.
