is there a huge jump between 2.6ghz and 2.4ghz
(T7700 vs T7800)

Iceman0124 More news from nowhere
In a word no, for the general average user, there would be very little to no noticeable real world perfromance gains.
-
Because of the bus speed, I would tend to say that the T7700 has an advantage on memory-based applications. The difference is very minimal though

I thought they both ran bus speeds of 800mhz? The only difference i'm aware of is the 200mhz speed bin increase, other than that bus/cache/process/etc are the same as far as I've read.
-
so i guess the difference is veryvery slim?
-
The T7800 is in theory (clocks) 8% faster. In real world since CPU is not always utilized will see less. Many apps don't even push either one so there is no difference.
-
Both have the same bus speed. 800 MHz. In fact, they're entirely the same except for clock speed of course.
I'd say the difference in performance does not provide enough merit for the difference in price between the two. -
not that worth to spend the money
2.4 vs 2.6?
