does anyone have any settings or way to set up the built in camera on an inspiron 1520? out of the box the picture looks green kind of like monochrome. I hope this can be adjusted properly because the colors look completely off.

What drivers are you using? What settings are you using? What is the lighting condition? Which software did you start to check the camera? If you answer these questions, we can help you.

i haven't touched anything from the camera, the settings are exactly the default ones as it shipped from dell. I just notice that the image doesn't really show colors, it looks green almost monochrome.

anyone that has properly set up their camera that can help would be appreciated

Please uninstall the camera drivers and reinstall from the Dell's provided disc. Your problem should be solved. If not it is a hardware problem and you need to contact Dell.
