Question 1: Is there a way to limit the amount of memory the graphics card uses? The Nvidia control panel says it's using 768mb of system memory. That's absolutely too much. If possible I'd like to limit it to using just 256mb of system memory.

Question 2: Is there a program that lets me see the system temperatures and will let me control the fan speed? I primarily run on the AC adapter and I want the fan to run full speed.

Check the nvidia control panel and you should be able to see something regarding turbocache.

You can use RMClock, SpeedFan or Notebookhardwarecontrol to check the temps, but none of those will let you control the fans. You can try the I8kfangui used by other Dell models to control the fans, but idk if it still works with the newer models.

i8k seems to work with my 1520...it should work with your comp.

set the fan interval thingie to a low value, or else the BIOS gets ADD and turns the fan off.
