    What kind of RAM fits into this laptop? (since Dell is overprized in this regard, I would rather buy it somewhere else)

    Is the video RAM shared or dedicated?

    To get RAM, use a configurator at a site like www.crucial.com

    They're a very good place to buy from and you can't go wrong with the wrong size or speed.

    The video card options in that unit are both dedicated RAM.

    The card isn't a very good one, though. I think that the new integrated graphics that just came out may be more powerful. The 600m is a great machine though.
