    2 Months and more to deliver my Vostro 1400 in UK

    Oh my God.... This is Dell or Hell.......I just checked my Order Status in the Status page and my Estimated Delivery date was moved to 03.10.2007 From 21.08.2007.......I ordered my Laptop on 01.08.2007........Dont know whats hapening...When I called my Rep, F****ing , She is not in office today and will b back on sunday.....Cant figure out what dell is doing.......

    Did any one in europe who ordered Vostro 1400 had a EDD moved to later date......This is just getting worse.......

    Does yours have a webcam? Mine was ordered on 8/13 in the US and it is on the way already.

    I too received the dreaded email. I ordered on the 29th july with an estimated date of the 18th august. Even 3 days before the 18th i was told that it would still be delivered by the 18th, they then changed the date to the 1st October. When i contatced Dell i was told that it was the lack of processors causing the problem and that the 1st October was an estimated date, moreover if i waited a couple more days they would be able to give me a more accurate date.

    I may well have waited if it wasn't for the fact that thay fobbed me off earlier in the week so i voted with my feet and cancelled my order and gave them some honest feedback!! I received a call the next day from Dell offering me the 1420 Inspiron with the same spec, but even then i would have to wait until the 30th Aug. At the time Dell phoned I was using my new HP2535 which I ordered online and received in under 24 hours.
