    mob on mobile guys,

I got that stuff full-loaded, but couple of days I've been thinking of data storage extension, so can this machine integrate second (internal) harddrive?

    Thanx a lot.

I do not think the E1705/9400 has the option for dual hard drives. You'll have to opt for external hard drives.

Thanks, i guess that.. But, i got lil' freaky idea: Search trough the case and somewhere inside i need to find a space, where can be the second disc fixed and the connections will be set on internal USB hub (like the internal BlueTooth device) with something like this: http://megashop.pkdata.cz/?Mode=Sti&StiId=21047. But I haven't tried disassembling yet, i can't find properly screwdirver ;) So, if anybody did that or gonna do, just tell me if requested space are available. Thanx.

I don't think you'll find any extra space in the 1705 case. It's crammed pretty full.

It isn't built to hold a 2nd drive, but you can get some external drives for cheap.

That is correct. I got an external 120GB drive for extra capacity because I know the current drive will reach capacity eventually. I will split it among an install of linux and storage that both operating systems can gain access to. Some laptops can accept a second drive but usually you end up giving up the optical bay in order to install a second hard drive.

This question is a bit sidetracked, but still involves hard drives.

Are our E1705 hard drives 2.5" or 1.8"? Obviously, I'm looking to upgrade my storage space, I'm having difficulty on confirming the specs on my hard drive.

Does anyone know where to check in our system?
