Has anyone compared the different types of LG screens for the m1530?

I'm just curious as to which one looks better: the XK309 or the v2 one.

Actually, I would like to know this too. Apparently, some people are getting LG screens with the part number KR515 (like me in a couple of days :D) so I'd like to hear more from people who do have this screen. It might be a revision of some sort, because in the service tag description its ("...LGP, V2").

I have the kr515 v2. It's pretty nice, far better than the grainy samsungs. In my opinion the xk309 is slightly better from the 10 minutes I spent on one. The kr515 has some angles where you notice darker parts of the screen moreso than the xk309. I also found the xk309 worked well right out of the box but with the kr515 I had to use the nvidia control panel to adjust the gamma/contrast/digital vibrance etc. to get a nice mix of colours. The screen is sharp though - definitely happy with it.

the kr515 and the xk309 are 2 different displays the xk309 is a 1680x1050 display where as the kr515 is the lower res display (1440x900) so i dont know why you're even comparing the 2

I have the KR515 and it's great. I haven't been able to compare it with the other one, but I can't imagine a better screen.
