I got the $750 off deal. Did I make a good decision? Anyone own one? I'm reading alot about "overheating" is this a problem?

Diz your not telling us what all you have on what you bought is the jackpot, more details of your purchase are necessary for this forum, well at least for me to make a decision to give you a fellow notebook member a realistic answer.[ :)]

15" SXGA+, 3.2 Ghz, 512MB2P, 80Gig, 8xCD/DVD burner, 32MB DDR XGI® Volari™ XP5 AGP 4X Graphics. All for $933. I know the price is right, just seeing if the unit itself is a good one.

If you don't mind the heavy weight (and it's REALLY heavy) I think you will like the notebook.

If you plan to play most new games, the video card you chose will not be able to handle it.

I also highly recommend once week taking a can of compressed air, and blow it into the vent on the back of the computer. This will keep dust from collecting on the heatsink which should help prevent it from overheating.
