Any tips on how to resolve problems with non-working keys. Sux having to press a key 3 times just to type.

Assuming the keyboard takes the standard 2 week vacation, I'd say just wait it out, or purchase an external.

Does this happen on an external keyboard as well? if no, try re-setting the keyboard cable to the system board. If that doesn't work either you can replace the keyboard fairly easily too.

Not an external keyboard. It was the one on my dell e1505. I would have been more descriptive in 1st post but i just couldn't bare to keep typing with it.

Now that I removed my battery seems to have improved how the keys respond. Other than that I just updated my Logitech mouse software. Anybody know where I can buy a dell 9 cell battery? With out the $200+ price tag that appears on dell's site.
