I was affraid something could go bad, and fry my 1737. I downloaded the 4MB exe and ran it. It kicked the Fans into Maximum setting blowing air out the back like a jet.

But after a restart everything is back normal.

    -reboots and shutdowns are faster
-random static and clicks are gone from audio
-HDMI output to my 22" LCD works as always

Glad to hear everything went smoothly. I just updated my Studio 1555 BIOS from A05 to A06 today, after a motherboard replacement.
