    If you ordered a colored 1720 (any color except for BLACK), please post here if you have moved OUT of the BUILD stage. Also include the date ordered, original ship date, and any delayed ship dates. You can see mine in my sig. Thanks!

    I am sure that the reason our 1720 delays is because the 2 guys responsible for it in Malaysia, Cliff and Ralph, are on vacation to the 25th and no one knows which button to push to get it started (Blue or RED?).

    Actually, if Dell told me that their factory was actually the underground village from Fragglerock I would be happy about the delay because, g-d damn, those guys are adorable. Also, I love that theme song.

    My 1720 (ordered August 2nd) moved from build to testing to boxing over the last 12 hours. Even though mine is alpine white (NOT BLACK), I think I'm missing the point of asking for replies from the owners of colored laptops. Alpine white is still the only color without a delay.

    I'll be checking the order status via phone every day. Whichever one moves out of the build stage first is the one that I'll go with. Plus, I seriously doubt both of them will be shipped at the same time. And even if they did, I could still return one of them.

    well i ordered a blue 1720 7/16 and according to order status phone number is now in testing phase as of like 4ish today

    specs: 1720 blue; 2.2ghz; 2gb ram; ge force 8600gt with webcam
