Well, everything has worked great for the past week, turned it off like normal last night, waited for it to shut down, closed it....
Then this morning, pressed power, went to the usual dell screen, loaded, then went to the black boot screen with the blinking cursor and sat there....windows wont startup. I turned it off tried more, dell loading screen takes a lot longer then it just goes to the same screen. Tried media direct, brings up the media direct logo and stuff then just sits at that screen. I'm getting no action at all, it's like the computer commited suicide overnight when it was turned off....any ideas?

Will it do BIOS diagnostics? Will it boot a DVD?
Sounds like you'll probably have to return it though, I guess.

oddly enough, powered it on today, let it sit for like a half hour at the black screen, then went to media direct, I exited, powered it on again, and it works like normal again....touchpad was operating strangely, but after a restart, I am back in business
