    1720 touch pad "TAP ZONES" ???

    anyone know if the touch pad on the new 1720's has tapzones? ive looked around and cant find anything. i loved that feature on my e1705

    If you download the latest synaptics driver, there are tones of options for configuring tap zones.

    No problem :)

    One word of caution is that the newer drivers got rid of the middle-click feature (clicking both buttons at once = middle click). There is probably some way to remedy that, but I didn't find it right away so I reverted back to the Dell driver. Just thought I'd let you know.

    i think i have my driver from my e1705 software.. do you think that will work for this touchpad? if so im going to install that one. this driver sucks.
