    waiting for 6-7 weeks now and expecting new delay due to keyboards (europe) as tehy told me on the phone. So I might sleep one night over it and cancel tomorrow and buy a Clevo ( http://www.clevo.com.tw/products/M570RU.asp) from a local reseller who has them on stock. I'm fed up with "DELL-AY"

    everyone is fed up with the dell-ay, but i guess i am gonna wait it out, because i am in love with this thing, and i didnt even get it!

    Oh man, I have been waiting like many but now get to wait longer! I called on Monday to check on why my order was delayed (which part) a 'helpful' rep said that he would "refresh" my order. After countless times of telling him not to touch my order from 7/31 he CANCELLED my order and submitted a new one and told me that I would somehow get this one sooner even though the new ship date is for 9/25 instead of the 8/28 date of my first order. Unreal!!

    Anyhow, after nobody wanting to really help me with this I got a hold of the Dell account rep for our company. They gave me a couple $100 credits but there is NOTHING they can do with my old order, it's gone. So, if you ever get Roi Catalan from Dell, RUN LIKE HELL!! He will F up your order. I think that he was simply trying to get the commission from my order.

    Now because of this idiot, I get to wait an extra month.

    that is just so crazy!how can the guy do that.to get him back(if you want to)you should email him and ask him how you can give feedack on him to his manager.just say that you were good and helpful.email his manager and say so many bad things about him to get your rage out.then, enjoy your wait

    Thankfully the Dell account rep for the company I work for is looking into this situation. Both the employee and his manager are getting a call :)

    Yep, it will really hurt when I start seeing the "I got my 1720 today" and when I look at their signatures I see 7/31, 8/1, 8/2, etc and I'm WAY back at 8/20 now :( All thanks to this tool that was "helping" me.
