    1720 and window vista home premium problem

    I just got a 1720 2day and i wanted to do a clean install of home premium on it. I tried installing it 3 times and it keeps on freezing on completing installation!! I formated my drive with media direct 3.3 and then put my vista disk in, it install7 expanding files, features and updates fine, but when it rebots and is completing installation the dvd drives stops spining and the green bar dosent even move! Any help!
