This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    1720 Noisy and hot, or is it just me?

    Is anyone else having this issue, other than the annoying HD noises and disc drive loudness, the fan also kicks in when Im just on the internet and its really loud.....sounds like my desktop sometimes......then when I was playing medieval 2, after a while it got so hot it burnt through one of the dell labels on the back and the game was so glitchy it was unplayable.
