The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.
It's great for what I use it for... light gaming... extreme word usage, lots of surfing the net... vista is taking a little getting used to, but other than that, it's so much better than my old computer!
Good things come to those who wait.......even if you get ticked off to no end.
My 1720 arrived on Tuesday 9/4....50 days after ordering. It has everything I ordered and the paint was in perfect condition. I want to thank all of you in the forum that gave encourgement and support during the waiting. It was nice to know that I was not alone. I hope that everyone get their machines as soon as possible and that they are trouble free.
