    i got my 1720 hooked up to my tv thru s video, but how to get full res on my tv screen?

    s video will not get a full resolution, I think it maxes out at 480p. You need to connect via VGA, DVI or HDMI.

    Btw, there is nothing wrong with Vista, it's the drivers you are using
