wow that is 1 hot system there, just 1 thing i don't like about it, well 1.5 things... i don't think you should upgrade your ram for dell. the 2 gb upgrade is probably costing you an arm and prolly a leg too... all for a mere 533mhz speed ram. if you can upgrade to ddr2 667 mhz ram go for it, if not stick with the 512mb ddr2 533 and buy the 2gb ram ddr2 667mhzfrom newegg or somewhere you like, you are already spending a ton atleast you should get the right stuff for your money. the other half thing which may not even be a concern for you is the battery, this is gonna suck a lot of juice out of your battery, but im guessing its a desktop replacement for you and you are probably not gonna be playing unplugged? i just don't know your needs, but i like mobile portable gaming, so thats why i mentioned it, its probably not a concern for you so besides that, just check on that memory thing.

also if you could go without the draft n... there is a pretty awesome system here: http://www.rjtech.com/miva/merchant...ode=M590K&Category_Code=Clevo&Product_Count=4
all be it for a bit more than what you are paying now, but if this purchase is a desktop replacement then this 19" sager laptop would be even more suitable for that purpose, all the while having the nvidia 7900 gtx not gs which definitely should be enough for oblivion in my opinion. -
by the way that is the 512mb version of the 7900 gtx which is the top card on the market... according to the review... http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=70254

hbomb thanks you are very helpful, I will go with newegg....yeah man, why should we pay more than we need to... thanks again, have a great weekend.

if you buy ram not from dell and upgrade it yourself, does this void your warranty?
-
that card should play oblivion no problem at all.

-
that Dell is max out! I'm jealous! It should handle all the latest games well!
