Hey guys,
I think my trust old E1705 is about to die. I bought the complete care coverage 2 years ago when I was in the states, but i'm now posted overseas in HK/Singapore.
If it does die, will i have to ship the computer back to my family in the US to get a replacement, or can I get the complete-care enacted from here?
Seperately, would they give me the same model or would I get a newer version? I bought that 7900GS graphic card so I'm worried about getting a slower replacement.
Thanks!

Unfortunately Dell does not do International Warranties. You will most probably have to ship it back to your family but it never hurts to ask. You will most probably get a 1720 whose graphics card is slower than the 7900 GS (not sure about this, you may want to check)
If you complain, you may end up with a 17" XPS -
Thanks man. Anyone replace a similar model recently? What'd you get in return?
1705/9400 about to bite the dust - complete care Q?
