    sucks imo i was going to order a 17" to and i hardly see any issues at all with grain.. cant see why they would not have them on the 17 but primarilt on the 15" .. i wish i would have went ahead with the 17" now please post of you have grainy screens on the 17" thanks i may still go that way and wait for a coupon if i cant get this settled with the 15.4"

    I believe the screen issue is the same in 17" as that in 15" but the thing is not many ppl order a 17" and hence you dont see much ppl complaining....

    I have a 17 inch screen and she is perfect... Glossy/ High Resolution... Crystal Clear... so no complaints here...

    Same here all these people complaining about grainy screen and I haven't seen one yet

    Well, there was one poster that took some pretty good pics of a crappy AUO display. Maybe after viewing these pictures, you can now say you have seen one!

    These pics show clearly the difference between the worst and the best.. AUO and LG The SEC is somewhere in between, and is crap as well as far as I am concerned. The LG looks just like my LG on my new HP. LG makes some damn nice displays.
