    Would the 8400M GS be able to support a 1680x1050 resolution on an external monitor through VGA?

    Yes.. The VGA would support up to UXGA... 1600x1080 (or WUXGA 1920x1080)...

    Oh YEAH! I have a 32" HDTV LCD, but resolution only goes up to 1366x768. Damn...
