Can you tell if it's even beginning to access the drive? Can you get into BIOS with F2 or the boot menu with F12?

I would try hitting F8 for the Advanced Boot Options and select disable automatic restart on failure to see if you are getting a BSOD (sometimes Unmountable boot volume cycles too fast to see you are getting a BSOD).

Have you tried reinstalling the OS? If you can get into BIOS and boot menu, it sounds like you have a bad drive or a corrupt install.
