search the F'ing forums man before you start a thread.
jk man, but yes, people have had this problem. i will find some threads and post you the links in here so you and anyone else will be redirected. i think there was an easy way people were fixing it to.

You will have to return the notebook. This happened to the first notebook my sister received from them. No other choice. Your chassis is probably bent. While you can try to "fix" this, you may as well just get a new notebook with a fixed chassis.

yea i read all the threads but they didn't solve my problem so i was wanting to know mainly what dell would do about it... will dell send me a replacement at the same time or do i have to return it, wait til they get it, process my new order, and send it to me?

I had this with my M1210 after a few months, they came and replaced the base and it was all fine.

twist it as... bend it downward?

i did read all the threads, even before posted this one, my question was more centered around what dell would do in my situation.
And i was clarifying the bend and twist, as I have bent it, i guess it is the same thing as twisting i just can't visualize "twisting" this computer. -
i would think of bending as putting it over my knee and exerting force downwards.
twisting would be like my description above -
bending sounds like it would work more, will that hurt anythng if i'm careful?
