The volume controls on the console work (up, down, mute) but they no longer display on the screen. Anyone know what I can check, configure, or reinstall to get the display working again? Thanks in advance!

Sounds like a problem with Dell QuickSet. Go to Dell's support page and enter your service tag to download it.

That's exactly what it was! Thanks brain!

It's not in the startup folder and I don't see an option to make it start automatically. And it doesn't appear in the startup tab of msconfig. Best to just drag the shortcut to the startp folder?

I would go to Run, type 'msconfig', and look under the "Startup" tag first. If QuickSet is there and the box is unchecked, you should check it.

Quickset doesn't appear in the startup tab in msconfig. Thinking I should either re-install Quickset or just drag the shortcut to my Startup folder.

Does it appear in the msconfig startup for anyone else?
