I just finished installing XP Pro on my new m1530. I didn't play around with Vista long enough to notice, but when you touch the volume controls above the keyboard, is there any on-screen display that lets you know it is actually working? They seem to be very, very slow at turning the volume up/down, and I would like some kind of display letting me know the button still functions. Any way to turn tis on?
If there is some driver or software I didn't install during the XP migration, that would be helpful too
Thanks!

Dell quickset shows it for my e1505, maybe you should get Quickset form their site.

That is one of the things I decided I didn't need to re-install. I'll give it a shot, thanks
