    1530 LED screen not available yet

    Just some info for those looking at the LED in the XPS 1530 -

    I just ordered a 1530 and was really disappointed that the sales person told me that every time she put in for the LED screen it was 'red-flagged' and wasn't available (even though it is offered online)

    So I just went for the 'straight' LCD (1440x900) one as hopefully that won't be a samsung. (as the $749 offer off is ending and she didn't know when the LED would be available).

    Be interested to know if anyone managed to get the LED on the 1530 before it seems that they run out.

    I think the infomation about 15" LED for 1530 is wrong. It would be a big surprise if DELL uses such a big size for its laptops. Even Sony/Apple did not apply LED on 15" models.

    All Macbook Pro 15" have LED backlit screen (1440*900), and the 1920*1200 option on the 17" MBP has LED backlight...

    Do you mean on the Dell site?
    It said "high resolution, glossy widescreen 15.4 inch LED LCD (1440x900)"
