    Hi..

I dont really like the Dell media center for watching blu ray on the 1530. It seems the only other possiblity is powerdvd ultra. Looking at the blu ray drives it supports from the cyberlink web site, it doesnt list the Mat****a bd-re uj-225s ata device. I've sent cyberlink an email to see if it is supported. At the same time, I would like to see if anyone is using powerdvd ultra to watch blu ray on their 1530 which as the Mat****a bd-re uj-225s blu ray drive?

    Thanks

Hi, I have just joined the forum.

Im not basically Tech savy. My friend inquired lappy with Dell. I got info quote for Dell XPS M1530 Laptop. Total Price quoted was : Rs 53,615 00 (All prices are inclusive of delivery but exclusive of tax)
I stay in Pune (Maharashtra India). on telephone i was told total price will be 67,000 (as i hv to pay 7% Octroi + 4% VAT)

Can anyone plz guide me to get the best deal. 67 is too much.

For those interested. I bought powerdvd ultra in the end and it works. Much better than Dell Mediadirect.!!
